Internet Explorer defeated Google Chrome, Opera, Safari and Firefox
November 17, 2008david 3 Comments »I don't know how or why, but fact are facts and in reality Internet Explorer is faster than Google Chrome. I tested a new platform created by DWStudio Inc., and I am very disappointed because Google Chrome showed the higher execute time.
There are the times:
- Internet Explorer 8 (Beta): 0.003960132598877 seconds
- Google Chrome 0.3.154.9: 0.024035930633545 seconds
- Safari 3.1.2: 0.0054850578308105 seconds
- Firefox 3.0.4: 0.010277986526489 seconds
- Opera 9.62: 0.0075891017913818 seconds
Server Info:
System: Windows NT SERVIDOR_LOCAL 5.1 build 2600
PHP: PHP Version 5.2.6
Web Server: Apache/2.2.9 (Win32) mod_ssl/2.2.9 OpenSSL/0.9.8h PHP/5.2.6
Server Information: Pentium IV 3.00 GHz, 2.00 GB Ram
I'm a Google fan, but... it's clear, Internet Explorer 8 is faster than his enemies.

First of all, I want to clarify some points…
When I did the test I was expecting similar execution times, because the conditions were the same. But a difference of 0.02 when 0.004 is average, I think is a considerable.
In the worst case, this prove that at least, this application runs faster in Internet Explorer.
