Recently I installed Fedora 10 on my Desktop PC. I think it's great. My nvidia works perfect, the colors are more intensive and I think the graphics looks better than Ubuntu. I installed the drivers that I downloaded from the NVidia Drivers webpage and I running the lastest stable realease of the kernel (2.6.27).
Some information about my desktop pc:
cpu: Intel(R) Pentium(R) 4 CPU 3.00GHz
ram: 2GiB
graphics: GeForce 6200 LE (512 MB)
In few hours I installed PHP, Apache, MySQL, Java, JDK, Wine, Nvidia Drivers and more. I thought It was going to be harder to install anything, because the apt is very very easy to use it, but yum is great too.
