Damon Kohler has accomplish the installation of Python on his G1 mobile mentioning it as a Christmas Gift for us, Python's fans. He clarified that with help of his friends Manuel and Thomas, he was able to installed Python 2.4.5 on the G1. It seems that it's still kind of rough but it could be a great start.
