Cloud Computing? I don't know how these people put the names of the new trend, but anyway, we have to accept them 
. But... what is cloud computing?
Cloud computing is a term that defines how a technology offers services through internet. This is actually not a new technology, but is gaining much more popularity in recent years, thanks to the web applications, frameworks like ruby on rails, and the internet itself, now is easier for anyone to offer this kind of services. Anyone who have a good idea of a service can use internet to offer the service.
Characteristics of Cloud Computing
- The entire system / architecture is predictable and efficient, this means that is Scalable.
- Services are typically being available to or specifically targeting retail consumers and small businesses.
- Device and Location independence which enables users to access systems regardless of location or what device they are using (eg PC, mobile).

The biggest drawback of this type of technology is the reliance on services Onlines, although this "handicap" one day there will not be because the tendency is to create a world becoming more connected you're using the Internet.
